I qualified as a Physiotherapist at the University of Birmingham in the early 2000's. My 'plan' was to specialise in ski injury and head back to Canada, where I had lived and worked in ski resorts. However, everything changed when I experienced Neurology and Rehabilitation rotations as a junior therapist.
I fell in love with rehabilitation and have been working in Neuro for almost 20 years and specialising in stroke in Exeter, for the past 12.
I love Pilates and have been practising for many years. I qualified as a Level 3 Pilates Practitioner with a YMCA Diploma in 2023.

I just love being outside, no matter the weather. Going for walks with my family, including our fun-loving Cocker Spaniel, on Dartmoor, Haldon and local beaches creates balance in my busy schedule.
Paddle boarding is also one of my favorite activities. I love exploring the canal and Exe Estuary on my board and finding a moment of peace.
Cornwall holds a special place in my heart, and my family and I love to make the most of our connections there. Recently we've taken up surfing and its been a wild ride (literally!) but so much fun.
Ive also rekindled my love of snowboarding too! Having experienced 3 ski seasons in France and Canada after college and having a few (20!!) years off, we had a family holiday to Austria and now I cant wait to hit the snow again!
